On January 21, 2011, the Circuit Court of Cook County Illinois entered an Agreed Order of Liquidation with a finding of Insolvency against Constitutional Casualty Company. The Order triggered the protection of the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund Act. Policies that do not otherwise expire on an earlier date, and that are covered by the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund, shall be cancelled effective 11:59 p.m., CST, on February 20, 2011. You may click on Insurance Termination Notice to see the notification. Any policy that is not covered by the Guaranty Fund was cancelled upon the entry of the Order. Claims for amounts not covered by the Guaranty Fund will be reviewed by the Office of the Special Deputy Receiver.
